Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Naturopathic Physician/Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic Medicine is a comprehensive approach to health that spans both natural and conventional medicine.
Naturopathic Physicians are doctors who have attended a four-year medical program that focuses on comprehensive care.
How much time do you spend with a patient?
An initial visit will often take between 45 – 60 minutes.
We spend this time exploring your full medical history because understanding how you arrived at your current state of health is often insightful as we work to get you to your desired state of health.
Subsequent visits typically take 20-30 minutes.
What should I expect?
We ask ALL patients new to our practice to begin with a complimentary consultation. This consultation allows us to confirm that we can assist with your concerns and that our unique and specialized approach is a fit for your goals.
If we are a fit, the initial phase of care will include a comprehensive evaluation, labs to provide critical insight into your concerns, and an appointment dedicated to the discussion of your labs and our initial plan.
As preparation for your initial evaluation, we ask that you return a completed health questionnaire at least two business days prior to your initial appointment so that your physician and our team can review it and be fully prepared for your visit.
In your initial visit, we will explore your goals, your concerns, and aspects of your health history that have contributed to how you currently feel.
Before giving any advice, we order comprehensive labs to provide objective insight.
At your second visit, we review the labs and discuss your initial plan.
The specific nature of your concern will determine how often you need to follow up after you begin treatment.
How many visits are required?
Everyone is different.
It is common for patients to follow up monthly for the first 3-4 months. Once we have clearly established progress toward your goals, follow up is needed less frequently.
How much of your practice focuses on nutrition?
Dr. Dalili believes that dietary strategies and lifestyle choices have a significant impact on health outcomes. Because of this, any care plan will have a strong nutritional focus.
Do you accept insurance?
The Montana Center for Vibrant Living does not accept insurance. We will provide all paperwork needed for you to submit claims for eligible reimbursement.
How much does care cost?
The total cost of care will depend on the complexity of your health concerns.
We offer packages and memberships to make your care affordable and predictable while supporting you in getting care when you need it.
Do you prescribe medication?
Naturopathic Physicians can prescribe many medications, and if you do not respond to milder interventions, we will prescribe as needed.
Some medications – such as anti-depressants – cannot be prescribed by an N.D.
